Product Process
The corrosion resistance of stainless steels decreases with increasing carbon content. Therefore, most stainless
steels have low carbon content of up to 1.2%, and some have ω C (carbon content) even lower than 0.03%
(e.g. 00Cr12). The main alloying element in stainless steel is Cr (Chromium), and only when Cr content reaches
a certain value, the steel has corrosion resistance. Therefore, stainless steel Cr (chromium) content is generally
at least 10.5%. Stainless steel also contains Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, Cu and other elements.
